Every year, the Open Society Forum announces a grant program to conduct policy research on pressing social issues. For 2006 the Open Society Forum has announced 13 themes in social protection, economy and governance and received 54 applications. The received applications were assessed in two phases and eight applicants have been selected as policy research fellows.
