After merger with Ex-Coalition members MPRP Parliament group 61 men strong (2005.01.28)
Chair of yesterday's Parliament Plenary Session and Vice Speaker of the Parliament D. Lundeejantsan informed the MPs about MPRP group meeting resolution on acceptance of the 25 Ex-Coalition members to join the MPRP Parliament group. This makes the MPRP Parliament group 61 men strong. The mergers had conveyed a letter of request signed by all of them assuring their obeyance to MPRP group code.
According to MP and MPRP group head D. Idevkhten the group code regulates that a group meeting is to be deemed valid if a majority of group members attends the meeting and decision is to be made by majority vote. Group members shall not have separate meetings. Once a decision is made by majority the group members are not allowed to make any kind of information release, statement or appeal that would contradict the decision already made, reports “Ardiin Erkh” /issue 020/.
The merged group is to bear the name of MPRP group. One more deputy head of group is to be elected later on. The group's current deputy is MP N. Enkhbold. D. Idevkhten said the deputy heads of the group will be in charge for attendance in meetings and members' discipline. байна.
